okay, me, amelia, trevor, and topher go to canada. trevor and topher fly out to chicago/detroit, and me and amelia meet them there. we somehow acquire a van (by rental or borrow) then drive to quebec. or we could always fly to montreal or quebec city. does quebec city even have an airport? whatever, once we are in quebec city, we go to general assembly (GA). that will kick butt. lets try and all room together in the youth hotel. trevor, amelia and i can get drunk (legally!) off our asses (you can too toph, but it dont think you are into that) and of course, the trevor bashing will then commence! we can only hope that lady singing about cherry brandy will be there again! (even though trev wouldnt sing with me and amelia, whateva) we can go to the workshops, worships, n'sync concerts (we can only hope!) and all that good stuff. then we can (this is if we have a van) go visist topher's grandma. is that cool with you toph? where does she live? i remember she plays euchre (she has won some awards, hasn't she?) and I told amelia, we decided she is cool and we want to go see her. can that be arranged? let me know. then we go home or something. if we had a car we could maybe go to toronto or something. anywhere in canada is cool! they have round bacon! can we leagally rent a car though, or a hotel room? i'm not sure about those canadian laws, and i do not want to go to a canadian jail -- ive heard horror stories about them. --shudder-- well, thats the idea. toph, amelia, trev, all get back to me. toph and trev: your mission is to try and convince other kids from the romania trip to come too.
R o a d T r i p !
Okay, in the summer of 2003, there is going to be one hell of a road trip. We get a car (a fairly big one I imagine) and start driving. Is that all you ask? Of course not! We go south, stopping in Georgia, Alabama, and Lousiana. You know they sell post cards with a certain favourite tuber on it! Then we start driving west, stopping in Texas (dont mess with texas!), New Mexico (this means you have to come, Cherie) and maybe Arizona. There are som really cool camp sites out west, so we are gonna go camping. Sorry Jess and Laryn, you may get a little "dirty" hehe. So, then we drive up north and go to california. We hang out there for a little while. then we drive (hopefully) up to Oregon. Then i can visit my Oregon buddies. I think we should sell the car then and use the money to buy plane tickets back home. The whole way we should make a road rules type thing. So that means, we are going to have to invite a randomly hot guy to come with us. Pleasure for the ladies, of course. *wink wink* Hehe! So anyway, thats that. Who's in?
O p e r at i o n C h i n e s e T a k e - O u t !
This summer, we were thinking it might be cool to go to New York City. Think of all the cool stuff there- the shops, the musuems, the resturants, the people, the shows, the bars, you can't go wrong! It only takes about 12.5 hours, and if we get a couple good drivers to split that up, it won't be bad at all. I'm thinking to save on cash, like 3 of us go rent a hotel room, and we sneak the rest of us in, so we would be spliting like $100-110 between a whole bunch of us. but, we have to move quickly... heh. Or we could find a youth hostel. So we get to NYC, park the car(s) somewhere and just chill for a couple days, take the subway/taxi around or walk. We could go to Chinatown, Little Italy, the Metropolitan Muesum of Art, the Natural History Mueseum, some local indie rock shows (please!), go see the Statue of Liberty, and all that good stuff. It would fucking rock. So thats that, we would need gas and hotel money (which should be cheap between us all) and food and extra spending money... So I dont know how much that would be, but hey.... we can scrape it together. Sound good?
