Nietzsche's Will to Power

Here, I am trying to explain how Nietzsche distinguishes between slave and noble morality, and discuss his idea of "psychology genealogy" in respect to slave morality.  Then I give my evaluation of the philosphy myself (no pressure there, huh?)

Nietzsche used psychological genealogy to determine the two types of morality: noble and slave.  Noble moralists hold strength, pride, health, etc. high as values, and slave moralists hold such values as meekness, humility, and suffering high.  The type of morality one holds is determined off of their psyche.  The rich in spirit and material aspects hold the noble values high emphasizing good and bad, while those that lack it hold the slave values high emphasizing good and evil.  Slave morality is vindictive and vengeful towards the noble ideals, thus harboring feelings of resentment.  This leads to a feeling of superiority, by stating altruistic motives are really better, simply because of the jealousy thy feel.  Well, if no one else wants to stay home and watch the children, I will, this would be a common statement of a slave moralist, feel that they will sacrifice themselves making others feel bad for being selfish.  Nietzsche feels this feeling is deceptive, because slave moralists use the will to power in a untruthful way.  The majority (slave moralists) attempts to exert power over the minority with altruistic norms of Christian values, deceiving the believers.  They fill noble moralists with visions of guilt, prison and internal damnation.  Which in turn makes them ignoble according to Nietzsche.

His justification of using psychological genealogy to determine the type of morality of an individual has its pros and its cons.  He brings up the point that some people value suffering and humility only to guilt others into following them (hence the term slave) or to make them repent for their ideals.  However, he fails to realize that people may do good things because it gives them pleasure.  One may work at a daycare center because of the love of children, not because of the resentment of those that dont.  For that reason, it seems hard to believe the resentment theory hold true in all situations, but certainly in some.
